I made this paper bouquet for my dear friend and co-worker, Sharmelle, while she was in the hospital. I cut the flowers with the Cricut, using the George and Home Accents cartridges. Co-workers/friends wrote healing and loving sentiments on the backs of the flowers. Sadly, Sharmelle moved on to Heaven before her flowers could be delivered to her. They were given to her family, in hopes they would know how much we all love Sharmie too.
I'm a working mom (in a hospital not a bakery!) who happens to enjoy making cakes. I started making them for my children when they were small, after my mother in law bought me an old decorating kit from an antiques shop. I've enjoyed it so much that I have continued to make unique cakes for my children, as well as family, friends and sometimes others who need a creative concoction (if I'm available)! I'm completely self-taught, and always learning. Half the fun is in learning a new trick or trying something completely different. I love it!
